BEDE (Biodiversity: Exchange and dissemination of Experiences) is an international solidarity association founded in 1994.

In connection with fifty organizations from different French, European and international networks, BEDE contributes to the protection and promotion of initiatives for peasant farming and ecological agriculture through information and networking.

BEDE organizes workshops, meetings between farmers, researchers and civil society in Europe, North Africa and West Africa countries and generates educational material.

This work allows the general public to understand the issues and what is at stake with agricultural biodiversity and to farmers and organizations to improve both their fieldwork and their negotiating skills at the legislative level.
